the HTC Diamond landed in UAE for 3299 dhs.
the only new thing worth mentioning is the VGA sweet screen, the high res gives everything displayed on the phone a sweet rich feeling.
On the other hand, the phone is extremely sluggish, i really mean it, extremely sluggish.
the Diamond is like a rollercoaster looping between fast then slow the fast again, so go figure.

Putting Etisalat 3.5G Mobile Broadband to the Test

i got my hand on the Etisalat 3.5g broadband usb modem (its a Huawei model E220) and gave it a test.
Etisalat cliams 7.2Mbps but i was getting 1.5 Max, i must say its fast for a mobile option.
u must be in a 3.5G area to get a good speed or expect to drop to EDGE speed, which is not that impressive.

Thanks to AT&T Vodafone, Qatar was selected for the iPhone 3G. Why can’t etisalat or du get shit like this done?!
